This was, in my humble opinion, the worst movie ever to star Christian Bale. The acting was limited, the storytelling laborious, effects were average. When you have names like Christian Bale, Sir Ben Kingsley and Sigourney Weaver on the cast list one would expect brilliant performances but that is only possible with an interesting script and good direction which this movie lacked. I fell asleep at several parts. The portrayal of God, was that of a bitter, spoilt, vengeful brat – more demonic than divine.
If you are having trouble sleeping this is a sure remedy. If you want decent entertainment give this movie a skip.
